Sinkhole Barfs, New Fly Over + Sunday News

The Advocate has a photo of the work site with cracks – (hard to see the cracks)

“The cracks, which are 1 inch wide and 14 inches deep, extend from the north side of the pad around to the southwest side of the pad, Boudreaux said.”

Sinkhole seismic event studied

By Robert Stewart -

Scientists believe the restless, 8.5-acre[sic]  sinkhole in Assumption Parish swampland is undergoing a “growth event” after they noticed an upswing in seismic activity in the past few days within a brine-mining cavern carved into the massive Napoleonville Dome, parish officials said Saturday.

Officials first began noticing an increase in seismic activity about two weeks ago, said John Boudreaux, director of the Assumption Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness.

Scientists reported that more than 80 seismic events were monitored two days ago, Boudreaux said.

“There was a tremendous amount of activity over the past couple of days,” Boudreaux said.

The sinkhole then “burped” up crude oil, debris and hydrocarbon to its surface around 10 a.m. Saturday . . . .

GEOLOGICAL UPHEAVAL: Louisiana Sinkhole Grows to 8 Acres – 80,000 Gallons of Oil Removed From the Surface!

Flare Off Halted at Louisiana Sinkhole

Minor earthquakes are being reported in the immediate area of the sinkhole, but USGS EarthQuake Monitoring System is reporting Earthquakes from the Gulf of Mexico straight up the New Madrid Fault Line as far north as The Great Lakes. To put this in laymans terms, this is a massive disaster waiting to happen. It will effect not only the immediate area surrounding the sink hole, but devastation from the Gulf of Mexico all the way to The Great Lakes. Some may consider that to be an alarmists statement. It is!! It’s meant to help keep people aware, to warn them to get prepared.

A COMMENT that says a LOT!  “…none of us probably know what we are talking about…because the “professional” geologists are lying through their teeth about the complexity, danger and potential outcomes of the oil/gas filled series of salt-domes and sinkholes in that area….!”

Note: Hydrogen sulfide info put on the Methane page.

The Little Known New Madrid Pipeline Bomb

By Zen Gardner -

” . . .  there’s also a little known factor that will really make your hair stand on end. The fault zone is criss-crossed with major gas and oil pipelines delivering these volatile energy sources all over the United States. . . . “

An earthquake in the middle of the country, along the precarious New Madrid fault, could have enormous fiscal and energy consequences. “Virtually every natural gas pipeline in the nation is built over that fault,” Geller says. “You’ll see the explosion reflected off the moon.” –insurancenewsnet.com
