  1. That’s the whole reason the “Blue Ribbon Committe” was set. To give a false sense of security. Just like the fox guarding the hen house. Oh, you can trust them because they have an important, trusting name. The committee has everything to gain from voting in the interests of the salt cavern operators. The residents are expendable.

  2. Also, let’s not forget: John Rogers Smith, Ph.D., Associate Professor with LSU’s Craft & Hawkins Department of Petroleum Engineering, consulting engineer for federal Oil Spill Commission on events leading to 2010 Deepwater Horizon accident.

Who is now ‘serving’ on Jindal’s Blue Ribbon Commission as well.

Yet folks still don’t believe there are any connections….Sigh.

  3. Just FYI-The Bugle now has a Security Warning! Pop-up when I’ve come into it the past 3 times. Saying the certificate is not from a trusted authority. You must be hitting a few nerves here, you sneaky truth-teller, you! And the rest of you!

    • Yea, one time I was asked to creat a password in order to access an article. I don’t think so. I’ll just come back another time.

      • Keith — that password (on one article, not the blog) was for the duration of editing the “Worst Case” blog item with another party who was giving info. It was for us to fiddle with before making it a “public” post. It was just a faster system than e-mail so nothing personal against readers here.
