Seismic What??

They are supposed to be under Code 2 at Lake FUBAR but lots is going on with machines. Or else there was a huge collapse underground making tremors.

And at 3 p.m. CST today there was a lot of fluid moving under there. Will they go to Code 3?
heli_button          What about their official line that self-made tremors will begin to diminish? They have only increased.

Speak of the devil!  The parish blog has a new missive.  What’s this?  “Collecting water samples from containment berm discharge outfalls

They are at Code 2 still.  That’s brave.

I know that is a fracking quake, but larger than most.

  2. Just as long as they don’t start that volcano off again that spewed out all the ash back in 2010. Although its was funny watching the tv news crews trying to pronounce its name

Most ended up just referring to it as the Iceland volcano.

  3. Now due to government shut down the earthquake site is now closed, but say they are monitoring.

xDue to a lapse in Federal funding, the USGS Earthquake Hazards Program has suspended most of its operations. While the USGS will continue to monitor and report on earthquake activity, the accuracy or timeliness of some earthquake information products, as well as the availability or functionality of some web pages, could be affected by our reduced level of operation.
