Save Lake Peigneur, Inc. & LEAN’s lawsuit against the division of Coastal Management within the Department of Natural Resources will be held on:
Date: Wednesday, March 26
Time: 9 AM  10 A.M.
Place: Iberia Parish Courthouse
300 S Iberia Street, New Iberia
The lawsuit against the state resulted from Coastal Management (CM) granting the permit to dredge contingent on Injection & Mining Division granting the final permit making. We dispute that Coastal Management did not do due diligence by granting the permit.

    • risks for the poor saps they make go down there ….
Russia at least gave the soldiers lead foil to wear and used a stop watch.

      • I differ.
US masters have no problem killing their workers.
The Russians gave the soldiers (many tens of thousands of them lined up) rolls of lead foil to protect themselves…. story come from the long story on it in the New Yorker.
N.M. workers not even told how to decontaminate after they were completely exposed and they are contaminating families and everything they touch.
Go ahead and defend the nuke industry on a CNN comment board or where no one knows about DoE crimes. The web is full of places for you to cheer WIPP bosses.

  1. New Mexico just pulled WIPP permit to extend storage. So..yes..where is the Plutonium and other radioactive products to be stored? LLNL? Nope, that’s supposed to go to WIPP! Hanford WA? Well they have a dam problem (Dam, not damn alto that’s correct as well). Communities are getting wise to the dumps..stuff gets dumped..then communities then have to PAY with their health and more.. With radiation, its not Out of Sight Out of Mind..its always dangerous.

Hope we dont get an OBAMA executive decision and DOE goes ahead to dion dump more into WIPP…it Obamas; only option at. this point. Obams ‘promised’ to take the Japanese material –he wants to keep his promises and save face with the INTERNATIONAL community. Hes not so good with promises to the US citizens as we see with OBAMACARE. Lips move..thats it..
