  1. I hope you all brought a change of underwear today…

We have THREE quakes which are all hitting Lake Fubar at roughly the same time…

THIS doesn’t look like it’s going to be pleasant 😦

  2. If anybody is in the area of Bayou Corne today, is there any chance that you can see if Lake Fubar is STILL there.

Because judging by the LA 10 helicorder at 09:00 CDT, Lake Fubar may just have done an Elvis and left the state.

  3. This Solar flare can hit the earth like a ton of bricks.
This CME could deliver a glancing blow to Earth’s magnetic field on April 20-21. Two or three minor CMEs traveling ahead of this one are expected to arrive on April 19-20, and the combined impacts could generate geomagnetic activity throughout the weekend. NOAA forecasters put the odds of a geomagnetic storm at 55% on Saturday, increasing to 75% on Sunday.

  5. David, I read more than I post, but do try to keep up with the quakes. I live south of Dallas and there was one in the Dallas area of Northwest Highway and Stemmons Freeway yesterday from what the news said last night and the map says Farmers Branch, which is just a hop, skip and jump up Harry Hines. I am about 40 miles give or take from that area. I drove that round trip every day back in my working days. Now retired. I will let you watch the recorders while I go plant more in the garden.

    • it’s not ME … it’s WordPress diverting all the comments into the spam bin …
sorry … getting to it (I was off line)

  6. We are all still here in New Orleans area. As far as I can tell, lake Fubar is still there too. Sure hope Easter is quiet and peaceful. We are enjoying a lovely Spring here in Southeast Louisiana.

  7. And what is causing this alert in Bismark, ND? There was also one in Arkansas yesterday.
