Mon. News … tic, tic, tic

Whatever has gone awry at the south end of Lake FUBAR it isn’t settling down. See LA18 in the wee hours. For the past few days Lake FUBAR’s indigestion has had few hours of calm.

The Advocate, Op-Ed – James Gill: Oil and gas owe Louisiana big time

“The royalties they paid were for the right to extract the oil and gas that made them a fortune and that’s all. The companies had permits to drill, not to leave devastation and waste behind them . . . “

O.K. – we give up! What’s happening at Lake FUBAR???

    • I’m getting sea sick too….
I highly doubt those were work trucks or machines making all the thumping in the middle of the night… on a Sunday!

    • Sloshing due to some event around 1 PM, was not home to check on the DAs, but the helicorders show something around 1 PM your time. There was a 5.1 off USA/Oregon a bit later but not likely the exact time/cause.

Any volcanos burping? LIke icelands? Or Guatamalas?

      • yeah there’s a Central Amer. volcano … I think in Peru today. Goin’ off like fireworks down there.
I just posted crazy heli charts just now…

  1. Going to start fracking for natural gas within a mile of my house. According to geology reports of the targeted area, there are major geological faultlines running throughout the area connecting the Southshore of Lake Pontchartrain to the Northshore of the lake. I have a feeling, if the frack this area, it could be very dangerous for many living in Louisiana. A little like cutting along the dotted line, so to speak.

    • I’d be afraid they will lower yr water table using up so much!
Put bad luck charms near their work road!!

    • Karen, if you have a well, collect and get your water tested as a base line!!! Do it even with city water..just in case. Otherwise how do you prove damage and injection of fracking materials. The usual excuse from the was there BEFORE. So have a smoking gun ready for them, just in case your faucets light up with gas later. hugs.

  2. Looking at the LA-10 bottom borehole Helicorder recorder
There was movement at 01:41 CDT time or 06:41 UTC time

and the Arkansas Helicorder recorders and the other sinkhole recorders.
That look like the one that did it.

    • And 2 big ones in Mexico probably near there … looks very active on that Pacific side of Latin Amer …

  4. YUP. The sinkhole sloshing just means earth tremors..and the little DAs were yelling heads off about it. So was the site I mentioned, the abnormal magnetic fields around the earth are dead give aways..litt

  5. West Virgina coal mine ‘ground failure’ kills two miners. HUM..and earthquakes there too, as well as the one in NY. Ground failure..what in the world is THAT? What happened around 8:30 PM Monday earthquake wise?

WHARTON, W.Va. — Officials from the federal Mine Safety and Health Administration say two workers were trapped and killed in an accident at a West Virginia coal mine.

Amy Louviere of the agency told The Associated Press in an email Tuesday morning that a ground failure occurred at the mine around 8:30 p.m. Monday. She says the miners’ bodies have been recovered, and personnel from the agency are on the site.

  6. All the West Virginia earthquakes, were they caused by ‘retreat mining operations’ the location was almost EXACTLY the same for the Brody Mine #1`, or 37 54N 81 40. Ground fault was caused by coal/gas explosion and ceiling collapse
four hours or -4 makes it close to 8:00 PM. Some are at the 2.1 range!

    • I thought something was up when I heard that headline on tv …
Plus fracking sucks out so much water all the land nearby becomes unstable …

  7. We have city water in this area. There are some that have wells though. Found out today that this Company has decided to start with conventional methods of oil andgas extraction, then after further study,… decide if they will frack. In any case, there goes the property values, I am sure. Luckily we plan to move within a year and a half. We have some time, as the land has arleady been leased, but permits have to be applied for etc.
