These are small quakes but they may be precursors to larger ones.
The 2 nuke plants are old and have miles of piping that gets brittle from the Wigner effect. Lots of info on old, brittle piping in nuke plants when you look up the recently closed San Onofre plant in California.
It was the creaky old piping that caused the public outcry.
As usual the OK frack-quakes are still going off constantly. We don’t bother reporting them here. It will be big news if they stop! But they aren’t helping either.

2015 Gulf of Mexico dead zone ‘above average’
“Scientists have found this year’s Gulf of Mexico dead zone, an area of low to no oxygen that can kill fish and marine life, is, at 16 767 square km (6 474 square miles), above average in size and larger than forecast by NOAA in June. The larger than expected forecast was caused by heavy June rains throughout the Mississippi River watershed, NOAA reports.”
