It looks like Lake Fubar is getting ready to dance again, and this time I think she really means business.

Holy $***. Thanks for the video. Now run!
I think Lake Fubar’s dancing the Hula, she’s got a little grass skirt, and she’s swaying from side to side 😉
oh … you called THAT one! 🙂
I tried reaching out to CNN with a letter and a copy of the video. We’ll see what happens.
early on I sent stuff all around . . ..
A frightening mess, for sure.
you said it!
This video looks impressive towards the argument that activety is increasing at lake FUBAR. I watched the clouds, bushes, and trees in the video. The cloud patterns changed too quickly, leaves and branches were blurry throughout the entire two minute video. The leaves and branches are blurry because of slight movement during a time lapse video. Other objects aren’t blurry to do away with the argument of “out of focus.” You can see that jumps in the video suggest that the video was paused while the tide was at steady state or pasted together from other days. The camera is obviously on a tripod or other steady object. It appears to be a time lapse video of tidal movement.
I emailed the video to myself, and the link is below. I tried to access the video via the below link, and I was prompted that the video was not from a trusted authority, did I want to continue. I “continued” to figure out what was going on, and I could just purchase another phone if my phone went haywire. The video never showed up, only a blank website.

I got the link to work (Flash is always needing updates). I agree … there are many ‘jumps’ like bad edits in the vid.
Use FULL SCREEN mode, everybody.
This is a video of the sinkhole tide from back in April. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3NcCr2wcRoI
And a different video of the sinkhole tide from back in April.
nice comparison
The video looks authentic to me, I have watched it 10 times at least. On the time line that has the circle or ball that slides across the screen, click on it and hold, all the frames come up. You could pick up out of sequence frames if there were any, also right click on the video anywhere while it’s playing, a box should come up, there will be a choice, “Stats for nerds”. Watch the FPS, frames per second, not much deviation. Anybody can edit, good editing is a talent or a skill. I respectfully disagree this video is real.
ok. to me in the first min. it looked jumpy but it may be my machine playing it back jumpy due to lousey connection.
OK, I was fiinally able to watch the video this evening from the link I gave earlier. I have lived near lakes and big rivers most of my life and have never seen tidal movement similar to the tidal movements pictured in this video. Now I live near Lake Champlain with conections to the Atlantic Ocean via the Saint Laurence River. I checked on tidal differences at other bayous. The tidal differences at Bayou BonFouca are six inches. The wave motion may be do to the fact that southern Louisiana is near sea level.
The one area that I’ve seen tidal changes occur quickly is the Bay of Funday on the east Canadian coast. I think the difference between low tide and high tide is 80 feet.
