  1. The activity appears man made. I suspect that freedomrox is right about their commitment to doing something at the Oxy 3 site. Even at the risk of personal injury. They are out their working to mitigate some potential greater disaster. To bad we are kept in the dark even though their lives are not the only ones at risk.

    • . . . and too bad the local press is so non-curious to check it out on behalf of the public!

I am sure they are scootin’ around in those air boats shooting the water … but in these modern times … wouldn’t it help to build a computer model of it at LSU or somewhere with big computers?

They do all sorts of modelling with hurricane forecasts now and utilize all kinds of ‘plug-in’ software. This air gun (3-D thing) is by guesswork (my opinion).
It is true their mantra is “this never happened before” but neither did giant ice shelf melting. Computer models are used in every science.
Computing power is increased by linking multiple computers these days. No such outreach on this disaster.

They do NOT have to work in the dark.

They do (in my opinon) because Texas Brine wants to keep secrets. And they will risk everyone to do it.

      • affirmative fcf

In every real issue such as El Hierro the only issue for “them” is to control the masses. Don’t disturb the status quo, keep the herd quite and consuming. They are content to believe what’s on the box

      • Did you ever think that they local press is being censored? This has the potential of being huge. Imagine the mass panic that would be created if the local press and geologists could sat what they really want to.

      • I think they have HUGE constraints.
#1 being the economy of big oil in the region.
They are probably on the board of dir. at all the local media outlets. I am sure many at WAFB would love to take a chopper ride over that sinkhole with a tv camera.

    • Ahhh, the stories I could tell, but wouldn’t that be tattling? Oh well, I’m a tattle-tale, or I wouldn’t write, roight?
Here’s what they don’t want you to know. Oxy 1 is being bled off twice a day due to over-pressures. Over last couple of days they are preparing to or already have installed a Blow Out Preventer, (BOP), courtesy of Halliburton, of course. Now you might ask why in hell would they need a BOP on a brine well? Damn good question.
Also, there is a wireline that is being run between Oxy 1 and Oxy 3A, presumably a seismic net to seek out a fracture caused as a result of their Barge/Air Gun experiment, which is why Pad 3 caved on both sides, and the access ramp fell in.
Now, what is all means? I dunno…but looking at the fluidic communications taking place at around 200 ft. means the liquids in the aquifer are sloshing around at a good rate being so perturbed by the inrush of methane, which then sets the eart to rocking until it sets the small fault at about 1000 ft. down to 5500 ft. to vibrating like a tuning fork, sparking even more micr-quakes

      • (Cont.) micro-quakes, which in turns shakes the ‘Disturbed Rock Column’ and changes the geology of the underlying sedimentary layers and hence the size, shape, and volume of the voids. This whole system is acting like a fractionating plant, without the benefit of the stainless steel filtering tower, of course. As I have stated before, and will again, this washing machine effect is creating chemical compositions never before seen upon earth, as well as shaking loose the uranium deposits, speeding up the natural processes that create Thorium, Radium-226, and Ra-228. At some point, this does come into contact with the environment, considering we haven’t a clue where all the venting fractures lead…

  2. I’ll bet that the men working at the site are sleeping and dining in the area. Hell, I’ll bet they may even have a cold beer every now and then at a watering hole someplace local. I would bet you they are away from home, lonely, pissed and scared to death about what they are doing. I’ll bet they would like some company and understanding, if anyone might figure that out. Hell maybe they might learn something.
