CROSSTEX the company in charge of the butane cavern NEXT to the subsiding mess underground  haven’t given out a “daily” update[sic] since June 9th. They keep adding MORE explosive/flammable content and we suspect if they were lessening the ammo down there they’d put out an update to ease fears.

WACO, Texas (AP) — Officials of the small Texas town devastated by an April 17 fertilizer plant blast that killed 15 people has filed suit against the plant owner and supplier.

The lawsuit filed Friday seeks unspecified damages from plant owner Adair Grain and CF Industries, which supplied agricultural-grade ammonium nitrate to the plant in West, Texas. A fire at the plant ignited the explosive chemical, flattening homes, schools and businesses and killing firefighters and other first-responders. . .

CF Industries had that fertilizer plant just blow up in Dondaldsonville.

There has been no info from usual sources in the last few days about any earthquakes in the New Madrid Fault area and we think they have gone on as usual. Now we see a  lot of activity over by W. Virginia and Tenn. .

Seismos look quiet. Big ogre is snoozing down there. Let’s see what happens when it wakes up.

We removed the USGS earthquake map from the sidebar list as it is simply useless.

About 11:45 a.m. CST  the ogre at the bottom of Lake FUBAR yawns to waking. It shows on LA12. Let’s watch. Right now our ONLY means of getting news about the disaster at Bayou Corne is by watching these monitors. . . and guessing results.

    Texas Brine has reported the floor of Oxy Cavern 3 has gone down to a level of 3,945′ which is 152′ deeper than last week’s measurement. It’s still unknown why this is occurring; however, we will update accordingly as information becomes available.

    3,945′ must be the NEW STABLE for TB 😉

    • I would like to know where they are getting their numbers from? The top of Cavern 3 is at 3400 ft., right? The whole of the western cavern except for a small bubble at the top is gone and supposedly filling the gaping wound with sediment outside the salt dome, so if we use elementary subtraction 3400 ft.-3945 ft.=545 ft. of a cavern top that can never really be filled underground as sediment doesn’t travel uphill, unless the top of the Salt Cavern collapses and sediment crushes the casing. I take it that this is why we haven’t ever had a Cave Camera inserted so the condition of the top of the cavern could be verified. Or, would it be more accurate to say that the public has never been allowed to see, because that would be a very basic step to take?

      • We don’t know that they haven’t sent a camera down there, all we know is that they have said that they have.

        We also don’t know just how far down the bottom of the hole in the wall is, nor how far up the top is, nor how wide.

        All that we know is what they choose to say, we can only assume that it’s true. Which considering some of they’re claims lately is becoming somewhat of a gamble, the “sinkhole is now stable” one comes to mind.

        We are basically ‘fly blind’ and our navigator ( TB ) is beginning to show signs of being very lost.

      • We’re in the position of playing roulette with blinkers on, we can see the table so that we can place our bets, but we cannot see the wheel.

        So we have to trust that the croupier is telling the truth when it comes to which are the winning numbers.

        And I’m seriously beginning to distrust TB’s croupier.

      • Simple, we don’t, because there hasn’t been a resident’s update meeting in two months. I am absolutely certain that they have taken this very basic step, but as usual , refuse to show it. Remember, every single entity on that Dome, are all a part of the “Solution Mining Institute” co- founded by Texas Brine, as are nearly all the BRC Members (Blue Ribbons), which I really tried to point out in my last article: http://freedomrox.wordpress.com/2013/05/22/louisiana-sinkhole-jindals-folly/

      • If you get a chance to ask them any questions, you may want to ask them about the ‘capped wells’ that are inside the berm & the subsidence area, 4 of them next to the pad containing LA 12.

        The same pad that had that breach during the rain, and is adjacent to the location of the breach in the southern berm.

        Those wells may well be compromised by the subsidence.

      • …those wells have to my knowledge NEVER been mentioned, but you’d think that the presence of oil & gas wells, capped or not, within an area that’s collapsing would at least make somebody sweat. Especially if they sprung a leak 🙂

      • Jeez! I have written extensively about Hooker Oil Well #1, 6200 SUA…doesnt’ anyone read my articles? It was the only producing well at the same depth right next to the cavern and the water well is still leaking and pumping crap up from the aquifer. The reason the others aren’t in play is because they were dry hole wells and were not producers.

  2. if you look at the map marked “Napoleonville Salt Dome Area” – http://watchertimes.wordpress.com/2012/08/27/elevated-levels-of-radioactive-elements-found-at-louisiana-sinkhole-site/, you’ll notice that there are at least 4 capped wellheads within the berm, any of which could now be compromised & leaking oil…

    these 4 wells are definitely within the area of subsidence and there is no way of knowing how they’re being affected.

    And within the ‘dogleg’ there are at least 2 other wells & a fresh water well.

    Does anybody know if these wells are being CHECKED ?? Because to my knowledge, they’ve never been mentioned in the news, and apart from the ‘fresh water well’ are ALL a potential source of really serious pollution.

    How many of you remember, way back in misty dawn of time, there was that little problem at Camp Minden, something to do with things that go bang…

    This was published in the NY Times on the 10 June…

    The company STILL deny storing the explosives improperly, despite the fact that we could all see them from space, and STILL can, via GoogleEarth.

  5. We have an anomalous waveform in the Heli’s at 15:00 for 15 mins, it appears in LA 10-bottom, LA 11, LA 12, LA 14 & LA 17 YC 02…

    Apart from that we have the usual beats, pings & dings.

      • Walter :: I often get the feeling that I’m talking to myself when I try to post anything, but it’s not just this site, I’ve noticed it happening a lot in other places too, a fair number of them WordPress driven, so I doubt that it’s Squidy (FCF) that’s doing it.

        I’ll post something, then I can be waiting all day, and it’s only when I go to bed at 3am+ that people start to respond 😦

      • On LA10 HHZ YC 03 : Bayou Corne, LA bottom borehole
        There was a big hit at 14:45 CST time or 2:45 PM
        At 15:04 PM or 03:04 CDT is when the gas and oil stared coming up.

      • Those Seismic Waves look something like Harmonic Tremors.
        You could say Noisy water pipes deep underground.

      • Here is someone old comment about those Helicorder.
        Need more information. The y and x axis are both time related. It does not show the ratio of strength. It only shows activity of Central Standard Time and activity in minutes. This is useless information, to me, without more to show what is going on. The seismograms only show a record of how the ground moved at a particular seismograph station in the Southeastern U.S. during a 24-hour period. It does not show strength. Why doesn’t the site show good information? It is only time related. Nothing on strength or force.

      • I don’t know who said that ( I’m pretty sure it wasn’t me ), but the seismo’s do show force ( strength ), at least in an implied way, by the distance that they travel either above or below their current baseline.

        It’s that sweep, that produces the trace that we see as waves on the paper / screen / graph.

        And I suspect I know where some of that oils coming from…

        Right next to the LA 12 helicorder , inside the berm there are 4 capped well heads, from oil & gas wells, they’re inside the subsidence zone, and I suspect may have been compromised…

    • Walter, at least one of my comments is totally gone. Nowhere to be found. And I cannot often even get to LSB in Google, so I’ve stopped trying. Only access in duckduckgo. Something is definitely amiss with this system and it’s not FCF’s fault.
