Gas (pipeline?) explosion in Indiana and pipeline map there

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — A roaring explosion that leveled two homes and set two others ablaze in a huge fire forced about 200 people from a devastated Indianapolis neighborhood where at least one person was killed, authorities said Sunday. The powerful nighttime blast shattered windows, crumpled walls and inflicted other damage on at least 14 other homes.

Attorney General give a big tab to Texas Brine with payment due in 30 Days

The Advocate: “State Attorney General James “Buddy” Caldwell issued a demand letter to Texas Brine Co. LLC and Occidental Chemical Corp. seeking payment for $3.47 million in costs run up by state agencies dealing with an Assumption Parish sinkhole emergency involving crude oil and gas releases as well as a related Texas Brine salt cavern failure. . . .

    • I hope so!

      Plus I relented and put on ‘Weekend News’ the thing about the big order for death certificates. It kept coming up as top five in searches for sinkhole news. I personally figure the printer who got the order is brother-in-law of somebody ‘connected’ and that’s all there is to it. But, heck … I can be all wrong.

  1. Don’t know if this is as a result from the 2 quakes in Kentucky, but LA08 (Butane) is really active! Not good, regardless…..
